Kay earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Metropolitan State University. She earned dual master’s degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy and African American Studies from Saint Mary’s University and Clark Atlanta University.

Kay is passionate about practicing an Afro-centric and holistic approach to therapy. Through her work, she acknowledges the crippling effects of racial and intergenerational trauma in the African American community.

Kay specializes in dealing with the impact of grief, trauma and early attachment injuries that alters client’s lives.

Kay has served the LGBTQ community in Minneapolis and the Atlanta area. Whether you are an individual, family or couple, seeking a more fulfilling life circumstance, Kay’s mission is to empower you to find renewable energy and a foundation for healthy life choices.
